1884 New York Fanciers' Club

Here is the show flyer for the January, 1884 cat show produced by New York Fanciers' Club at Madison Square Garden in New York City.  This cat show was held in conjunction with a pet fair, as was common at the time. The inside of the flyer listed the "Premiums" (prizes) that were to be awarded.

Cat Show, New York City, 1895

One of the first organized cat shows in North America was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on May 8-11, 1895.  Cosey, a Maine Cat, won a silver collar and medal which is now on display at the Feline Historical Museum in Alliance, Ohio.
